Concept Search - What can I type?
For a concept search, you can enter phrases, sentences, or full paragraphs in English. For example, copy and paste the abstract of a patent application or paragraphs from an article.
Concept search eliminates the need for complex Boolean syntax to inform retrieval. Our Semantic Gist engine uses advanced cognitive semantic analysis to extract the meaning of data. This reduces the chances of missing valuable information, that may result from traditional keyword searching.

Toner Storage Hopper Core Sampler
A device is provided for obtaining a representative sample of particulate
material arranged in the sampling device as it is disposed in a container from
which the sample is being taken.
The device (Fig. 1) comprises a casing 10 having one end
thereof cut at a bias as shown at 12. The casing defines a hollow
interior 14 in which the particulate sample to be taken is received.
An end cover 16 is mounted on a hinge 18 at the bias cut end
12, and it pivots on the hinge to open and close the end of the
casing to receive the sample.
An actuating rod 20 is disposed within the interior 14 of the casing 10, and
has the one end thereof attached to a pivotal connection 22 on the inside of the
end cover 16. The opposite end of the rod projects beyond the end of the
casing and has a handle 24 mounted thereon. such that it is positioned just
beyond the end of the casing 30 when the cover 16 is closed, as shown in Fig. 1.
A pin 28 is positioned and shaped to be inserted into the transverse bore 26. A
transverse opening 30 extends entirely through the casing 10, and is configured
to receive the pin 28.
To use the sampling device, the pin 25 is removed from the bore 26 and the
handle 24 pushed downwardly until the cover 16 extends to a completely opened
and slightly over center position, essentially as shown in Fig. 2. At this point the
transverse bore 26 is aligned with the opening 30, and the pin 28 is pushed
through both the bore 26 and the op...
