Curing Agent Not Subject to Hydrolysis

This article describes a curing agent for epoxies which is significantly better than any heretofore known. Either amines or anhydrides can be used to cross-link epoxies. Amines produce stable epoxies; however, there are some difficulties using amines, and it is sometimes desirable to cross-link epoxies using anhydrides. Most anhydrides, however, produce epoxies which are prone to hydrolysis.
