In semiconductor storages with dynamic storage cells, in particular in MTL (merged transistor logic) technology, there is the problem of standby power supply. In the storage array, the standby current as a constant current of the same magnitude can be applied via each bit line individually. In spite of the fact that the constant currents in each bit line are of the same magnitude, the injected current in each semi-cell is a function of the information written into the cells via a bit line pair BL0, BL1.
