Abstract

The present method, as used in implementing mutual inductive couplings in an Interactive Circuit Design computer program, consists of two main steps: (1) identifying and preprocessing the mutuals (mutually coupled inductances) from a user circuit specification by assuming that the names of the inductors involved in the coupling are node names to avoid creating additional program arrays, and (2) computing the locations and contribution to the circuit equations by processing all mutuals in parallel for APL speed and efficiency.
