Concept Search - What can I type?
For a concept search, you can enter phrases, sentences, or full paragraphs in English. For example, copy and paste the abstract of a patent application or paragraphs from an article.
Concept search eliminates the need for complex Boolean syntax to inform retrieval. Our Semantic Gist engine uses advanced cognitive semantic analysis to extract the meaning of data. This reduces the chances of missing valuable information, that may result from traditional keyword searching.

Groove Guide for Electrodes of Metal Tape Printers
For mutually insulating the electrodes in silicon groove guides of print heads
of metal paper printers, the grooves are provided with a highly doped isolating
For this purpose, the masking layer for crystallographically etching the silicon
grooves is used, for example, as a diffusion mask for a deep boron diffusion, by
means of which the weakly N doped silicon substrate is rendered P conductive
along the groove edges. Thus, a PNP junction acting as an electrical insulation is
formed between the various grooves. In the example described it is assumed
that the electrode has negative polarity and that the metal paper has positive
polarity or is grounded.
Groove edges 5 may be connected to an outer voltage supply (not shown)
via vapor deposited conductors 4 and so-called lead pads 6. For this purpose,
the guide, consisting of base plate 2 with grooves 3 and cover plate 1, is
designed in such a manner that cover plate 1 is shorter than base plate 2 to
ensure access to lead pads 6.
