Method for Reducing Cross Talk on Coupled Lines in Integrated Circuits

This article describes a directional coupling scheme for reducing forward transferred noise on closely spaced adjacent coupled lines on integrated circuits. The reference derives conditions for obtaining infinite directivity on coupled lines of any length, with applied pulses. Under certain circumstances and with proper circuit design, this principle can be used to reduce the "forward" transferred noise signal on coupled lines that commonly occur in integrated circuits. This is especially desirable as speed and density increase.
