Shown in the drawing is a LED/laser fiber-optic loop driver circuit using a high beta, non-isolated PNP device. This driver circuit has the following features: - Voltage driven edges. - Push-pull LED selection in which dv/dt is halved at nodes 1 and 2. - Circuit can work from 3.4 volts up. - Can be padded for edge control (Delta I control). - Transistor "C" provides for the current collapse.
