Differential Screw Assembly

A differential screw assembly is used to provide relative motion between two plates according to the difference of the pitches of the threads on the differential screw. The problem is to insert the differential screw between two plates on an initial assembly. Undesired movement could occur between the two plates. The installation of the differential screw can be assisted by the use of a bushing/nut assembly, as shown in the figure.
