Main memory chips provided with redundancy, error correction require personalized substrates. This personalization generally requires large numbers of substrates which are costly to produce and to maintain in inventory. This article teaches that personalization of a universal substrate can be accomplished through the utilization of selector devices 10 or 11 positioned on the substrate 12 (Fig. 1).
