The drawing shows an inexpensive connector retaining clip 10 for locking a single high serpent connector 12 to a top card connector 14. Clip 10, which can be made of thin steel or other resilient material, has a cruciform configuration. Arms 16 and 18 of the cruciform are basically J-shaped with the free end of the J being received in a horizontal groove in the connector 12. Only one groove 20 of the two is shown. The tip 22 of the cruciform has a downwardly extending wall which is seated against a wall 24 on connector 12. The stem 26 of the cruciform also includes a downwardly extending wall which overlaps one wall 28 of connector 14.
