Under normal operation, an electronic chassis 1, shown in the drawing, contains a specified number of slots to hold circuit cards. However, for debugging purposes an extender card 2 is inserted into the slot and a circuit card 3 is attached exteriorly to the chassis 1 for verifying signals on specific pins. Due to the circuit card's inherent weight, it must be supported. Otherwise, it becomes dislodged from the extender card.
