Concept Search - What can I type?
For a concept search, you can enter phrases, sentences, or full paragraphs in English. For example, copy and paste the abstract of a patent application or paragraphs from an article.
Concept search eliminates the need for complex Boolean syntax to inform retrieval. Our Semantic Gist engine uses advanced cognitive semantic analysis to extract the meaning of data. This reduces the chances of missing valuable information, that may result from traditional keyword searching.

In Line Transfer and Inverting of Ceramic Greensheets
This article describes an apparatus for transferring flimsy ceramic
greensheets between process stations that require operations to be performed
on opposite sides of the sheet.
The apparatus includes a pair of greensheet-holding platforms 1 and 2 which
pivot on shafts 3 and 4, respectively. Fig. 1 shows the platforms 1 and 2 in their
open position, and Fig. 2 shows the platforms 1 and 2 in their closed position.
Rotary motion is provided by a rotary motor 5 having a gear 6 which mates with a
second gear 7 mounted on the shaft 4 which, in turn, mates with a third gear 8
mounted on the shaft 3.
The frames of the platforms 1 and 2 are of a hollow interior construction, as
are the respective shafts 3 and 4. The interior passages of the shafts 3 and 4,
respectively, communicate with the hollow interiors of the platforms 1 and 2. The
working surfaces of the platforms 1 and 2 are provided, respectively, with slots 9
and 10 which communicate with the interior platform cavities. The open ends of
the shafts 3 and 4 are selectively connected to a vacuum source to provide a
vacuum via the selected slot set 9 or 10 for purposes of retaining the greensheet
against the platform which is at that moment connected to the vacuum source.
Fig. 1 shows a greensheet transfer head 11 which places a greensheet 12 on
the platform 1. Shaft 3 is connected to the vacuum source to retain the
greensheet 12 on the platform 1. The two platfor...
