Concept Search - What can I type?
For a concept search, you can enter phrases, sentences, or full paragraphs in English. For example, copy and paste the abstract of a patent application or paragraphs from an article.
Concept search eliminates the need for complex Boolean syntax to inform retrieval. Our Semantic Gist engine uses advanced cognitive semantic analysis to extract the meaning of data. This reduces the chances of missing valuable information, that may result from traditional keyword searching.

Multi Flex Conductive Tape
The usual conductive tape made of a conductive adhesive on a foil base was
subject to flex crack failure after a few flexings at the same place.
This problem was overcome by the application of a conductive adhesive on
the metallic foil side of a foil-MYLAR* laminate, which resulted in a conductive
tape which is resistant to flex crack failure. The tape was used on a slotted
curtain and showed no signs of failure after more than 2,000 openings of the
curtain. This type of tape is applied to the curtain sections to regulate the length
of the slotted openings between the individual curtain sections or slats. This type
of tuning is reliable enough for factory installation on curtain assemblies, and
lends itself to field fixes for specific frequencies, as required.
This type of tape could be used in many situations where flexing of the
metallic foil layer in the standard type conductive tape results in fracture of the
The combination of the conductive adhesive, the electrically conductive
metallic foil layer, and the MYLAR (polyester) backing produces a reliable,
flexible, low-resistance conductive tape. * Trademark of E. I. du Pont de
