Circuit card guides in a computer system must provide proper guiding of the cards during their insertion into receiving sockets. The guides function to align the cards with the receiving sockets during the insertion process and thus must be made of material, such as die cast aluminum, to obtain proper dimension control and strength so as to prevent damage during machine shipment.
