Recirculating Paper Path Pivoted for Jam Clearance

Access and serviceability goals coupled with size constraints led to the design of a compact internal paper path for recirculating original documents in a copier. The recirculating mechanism is transversely pivoted midway between the entry and exit points so that half of the path can be rotated up and out of the way for clearing jams and accessing other machine components.
