In magnetic bubble domain devices, it is often necessary to avoid the the problem of data reversal, wherein the order of data entered into storage is the opposite of that removed from storage during the read operation. Data reversal can be solved using parallel transfer of input data together with a reversal loop to supply bubble domain data to the write major path. Because the order of the data is reversed before it is entered into the minor storage loops, the data will be in the proper order when read from the minor storage loops. A data reversal switch is shown in which one-bit idler loops 10 are included between the write loop and the reversal loop.
