Concept Search - What can I type?
For a concept search, you can enter phrases, sentences, or full paragraphs in English. For example, copy and paste the abstract of a patent application or paragraphs from an article.
Concept search eliminates the need for complex Boolean syntax to inform retrieval. Our Semantic Gist engine uses advanced cognitive semantic analysis to extract the meaning of data. This reduces the chances of missing valuable information, that may result from traditional keyword searching.

Reverse Taper Cut Out for Paper Separating Vane
Snagging of flexible sheets as they are diverted from a moving belt transport
is prevented by an outwardly tapered cut-out section in the separation vane.
One or more vacuum belts such as belt 10 transports sheets in the paper and
belt movement directions indicated in Fig. 1 until this path is interrupted by vane
15 which diverts the sheet in the direction of the arrow shown in Fig. 2. That is,
vane 15 functions to detach the paper from the surface of the vacuum belt or
belts. Depending upon the environmental condition, paper weights and the like,
some sagging of the copy sheet at the belt 10 to vane 15 interface can occur
particularly as notch 18 is encountered. The outwardly directed cut-out indicated
generally at 20 forms a reverse taper which allows lateral movement of the
bubble formed in the sheet in following vacuum belt 10 with its bubble moving in
the direction shown in Fig. 1. This lateral translation of the bubble takes place at
the same time as forward movement and subsequently results in ironing out of
