Half Current Switch Circuit

The half-current switch circuit shown in the drawing performs a logical NOR function. That is, if the input to either T1 or T2 is at a high logic level, the output will be at a low logic level. The circuit operates with a high logic level input that is one baseemitter voltage drop below +V and a low logic level input that is one clamp voltage below the high logic level. The clamp voltage is determined by the particular clamp that is used, which in this case is Schottky barrier diode D.
