Concept Search - What can I type?
For a concept search, you can enter phrases, sentences, or full paragraphs in English. For example, copy and paste the abstract of a patent application or paragraphs from an article.
Concept search eliminates the need for complex Boolean syntax to inform retrieval. Our Semantic Gist engine uses advanced cognitive semantic analysis to extract the meaning of data. This reduces the chances of missing valuable information, that may result from traditional keyword searching.

Heat Sink Using Retractable Bellows
In a cooling system in which bellows are used for making thermal contact
between a heat source and a heat sink, the bellows can be retracted during
shipment in order to protect the heat sources.
As shown in the drawing, the bellows provide part of the thermal conduction
path between chips which produce heat and a cold plate which removes heat
from the system. When the system is shipped, in order to protect the delicate
chips, a vacuum pump may be used to pull the bellows away from the chips so
they will not bounce against the chips and possibly damage them. After the
machine has been delivered, the vacuum will be slowly relieved in order to let the
bellows again press against the chips. The bellows can then be filled with gas or
another heat transfer medium.
