A test manager program runs tests through a personal computer (PC) controlling a driver card sending drive signals and other key stroke information to a system being tested, such as a typewriter. Response signals from the system being tested are received at monitor cards, which also communicate with the PC and are stored in the PC. The PC receives stimulus files through a master PC from a host computer, which converts test cases to stimulus files. Thus, other cards and systems to be tested are connected through the master to the host computer. A host computer 1 has test cases written therein and converted to stimulus files. The host computer 1 is connected to a master PC 2 to which the stimulus files are transmitted. The master PC 2 controls to which of a plurality of test stations that a specific stimulus file is sent.
