CMOS Differential Cascode Exclusive Or/Nor Circuits

A CMOS differential cascode circuit is disclosed for performing multi-way even/odd functions. (Image Omitted) Circuits for multi-way even (and odd) functions are obtained by using a class of complementary structures for the n- and p- sides. The configuration of a circuit which performs a k- way even function is shown in Fig. 1a. The configuration of a circuit that performs a k- way odd function is shown in Fig. 1b. Blocks 1, 2 of Figs. 1a and 1b are further depicted in Figs. 2a and 2b by a respective graph-like notation. Each node 1, 2, 3 ...k- and nodes 2, 3, ....k-1 of Fig. 2 represents a transistor pair ("switches") having differential inputs. The signal name labelling a node is applied to the "right hand" transistor while its complement is applied to the other transistor.
