A method is described to allow calls from within high-level language routines to reference correct absolute addresses when incorporated into IBM DisplayWrite* 4. When a routine written in a high-level language and compiled on the personal computer is incorporated into DisplayWrite 4 (DW4) code, it is necessary to perform certain functions in order for the high- (Image Omitted) level language routine to be able to access other routines and to be accessed by other routines. The absolute location of the routines must be determined by using the location of the DW4 program and the location of the high-level language code within the Columbia-Discovery program. This address must be saved into every place that that code is referenced.
