A mechanism is described and shown in Figs. 1-3 which provides a functional, low-cost paper and envelope exit drive and stacker for a sheetfeed mechanism. As the leading edge of a sheet of paper or envelope passes the paper bail roller at point I in Fig. 1, it enters the exit path of the sheetfeed mechanism 5 along line A of the paper path 4. As the paper (Image Omitted) or envelope makes contact with the paper exit deflector 2, it is deflected until it contacts the paper exit roller 3. The exit deflector 2 is molded using pan carbon fiber (electrical grade) filled polycarbonate material which is conductive. This serves as an electro-static dissipator when the device is used in low humidity conditions.
