Residual With Slits and Spacer in Spring-Charged-Type Printhead

In a spring-charged-type wire matrix printhead, a disc-shaped residual with radial slits is provided on tapered pole faces, and a ring-shaped spacer is provided at the root of a disc-shaped leaf spring. The residual and the spacer made from resin films minimize rebound of a spring/armature assembly and result in high quality printing through the head life.
