This article describes a method of high-speed dynamic routing for a packet switching network. It provides dynamic alteration of routing tables and expedient switching capabilities. (Image Omitted) Presented here is a method of routing incoming data communication packets throughout a processor network node (PNN)-based network. Unlike existing network communication controllers, this method does not store and forward the data communication packets, nor does it ever deserialize the incoming data packets, thereby yielding a more efficient approach to network routing. A PNN-based packet switching network is a network composed of multiple PNNs spread throughout the network. These PNNs are responsible for routing data packets through the network to the destination. A PNN-based network is shown in Fig. 1.
