This article describes a one-piece molded plastic structure that locates, attaches and supports the various internal components and subassemblies which go into a personal computer (PC). Fig. 1 is a perspective view of the support structure disclosed herein. Fig. 2 is an exploded perspective view of the support structure and components and subassemblies supported by it. The structure itself (Fig. 1) locates the components and subassemblies relative to the main planar board (Fig. 2) or to direct-access storage device (DASD) and hardfile interposer cards to assure their pluggability in the system. The interposer cards are located and guided by the structure such that they may plug directly into connectors on the planar board.
