An IBM PC-based tool for collecting, analyzing, and presenting usability test data is described. It is a powerful, flexible, on-line data collection/analysis/presentation tool that is specifically tailored to meet the needs of usability test administrators. It allows data to be entered interactively during a test through the use of a monitor log. Data can also be entered at any other time. After data is entered, it can be analyzed and summarized in one or more of 110 tables. These tables are stored in standard ASCII format, so they can be printed directly or read into other application programs to become part of in-house reports and documents.
