In the assembly of a rotating mirror it is important to avoid touching the mirror surface. Two wrenches are described which prevent contamination of the mirror during handling and assembly. (Image Omitted) Partial mirror assembly 10 (Fig. 1) consists of in sequence motor 11 with motor hub 12, gasket 13, rotating mirror 14, spring 15, mirror cap 16 and socket screw 17. Rotating mirror 14 is transported from a storage package to motor hub 12 with transport wrench 18 (Fig. 2.) Transport wrench 18 consists of cylindrical body 19, one end of which is split into four flexible segments 20 which are beveled to provide ramps 21. The other end of hollow body 19 contains an enlarged opening 22 with an inserted spring 23. On push rod 24 is located an enlarged spherical portion 25 which rides on ramps 21.
