This article describes a mechanism which enables electrical interconnection to a palletized product on a conveyor without removing the pallet from the conveyor. (Image Omitted) The design of this disclosure provides a capability not previously available. It allows pallet connector mating with large quantities of palletized products without first removing the pallets from the conveyor. This eliminates the need for run-in carousels or other temporary storage installation, and the robotic devices necessary to load and unload them. This mechanism enables an interface connector to be mated with a pallet while the pallet is setting on a conveyor. Formed sheet steel, bolted to the conveyor frame, is used to construct the mechanism.
