Root Table - Sub Table Concept in Panels

A method is described for defining the relationship between multiple tables in one panel via a hierarchy. A panel can be designed based on more than one table. The panel designer must specify the relationships between the tables on the panel. One table is identified as the root table. It is the top of the hierarchy of tables used on the panel. A second table is identified as the sub table to the root table. Other tables may be referenced on the panel as lookup tables. The root-sub table relationship must be defined for the panel. The connecting column defines the connection between the root table and the sub table. Four relationships are possible and are defined as follows: 1.
