Epoxy resins made from epoxy precursors of high expoxy functionality and bisphenol-A and novolac type structures develop well in a mixture of about 95% by weight or more of 1,1,1-trichloroethane (methylchloroform, MCF) and 5% gamma-butyrolactone. This is particularly useful in standard printed board circuit manufacture where recovery equipment for MCF is in place.
