Digital Hole Gauge for Large Pin Arrays

Conventional hole gauges are difficult to use with large pin arrays and can give false readings. They may not detect pins which are slightly out of tolerance but still allow entry into the gauge holes. These gauges do not determine which pins, or how many pins, are out of tolerance and the gauges are difficult to insert even when the pins are within tolerance. A hole gauge system which addresses these problems works in the following manner.
