In a known oscillator circuit, two transistors have their emitter terminals connected together at a current source to form a differential amplifier. A capacitor, an inductor and a resistor are connected in parallel in the collector circuit of one transistor, forming a tank circuit. The collector terminal of this transistor is coupled to the base terminal of the other transistor. The circuit oscillates at the frequency established by the tank circuit.
