Concept Search - What can I type?
For a concept search, you can enter phrases, sentences, or full paragraphs in English. For example, copy and paste the abstract of a patent application or paragraphs from an article.
Concept search eliminates the need for complex Boolean syntax to inform retrieval. Our Semantic Gist engine uses advanced cognitive semantic analysis to extract the meaning of data. This reduces the chances of missing valuable information, that may result from traditional keyword searching.

VLF Magnetic Field Shield
This article describes a passive shield for suppressing VLF magnetic fields
produced by a flyback transformer in a video display terminal.
Referring to the drawing, the shield 10 surrounds a flyback transformer 12.
The shield includes a first, generally rectangular, strip 14 and a second,
intersecting, strip 16. The strips 14 and 16 are made of an electrically conductive
material, such as aluminum, cold rolled steel or copper. The strips 14 and 16 are
connected electrically where they overlap. Only one overlap area 18 can be
seen in the drawing. The VLF attenuation is improved by providing a base
portion 20 in the shield which underlies the ferrite core 22 of the flyback
transformer 12. Ground pins on the base of the flyback transformer 12 can be
used to provide alignment and electrical grounding for the shield 10.
