Technique to Remove Insulation From Fine Wire
Original Publication Date: 1988-Sep-01

This technique removes the insulation from wire without involving abrading, pyrolysis or scraping, each of which can require further processing in certain instances. Very fine wire, such as wire approaching the diameter of a human hair, is difficult to handle, especially on a production basis, and it has been very difficult to remove any part of insulation from portions of such wire, until this technique was developed.
