Concept Search - What can I type?
For a concept search, you can enter phrases, sentences, or full paragraphs in English. For example, copy and paste the abstract of a patent application or paragraphs from an article.
Concept search eliminates the need for complex Boolean syntax to inform retrieval. Our Semantic Gist engine uses advanced cognitive semantic analysis to extract the meaning of data. This reduces the chances of missing valuable information, that may result from traditional keyword searching.

Long Pin Solder Vacuum Tip for EC and Repair
A solder vacuum tip has been designed which permits EC and repair to a
soldered connector pin in a PTH without contaminating cabling areas on the pin.
One version of the tip is illustrated in the figure.
The new solder tip design has a plugged squared tube press fitted into a
copper tube. The inner squared tube houses the pin being reworked and blocks
the vacuum from being drawn up along the connector pin surface. The four oval
channels formed between the walls of the inner squared tube and the outer
rounded tube provide open areas for vacuum to draw molten solder out of the
PTH and away from the reworked pin.
The new solder vacuum tip can be used on pins 0.036 inches in diameter
with a maximum length of 0.531 inches above the board surface. The tips are
machined out of copper in two parts, nickel-plated and press-fitted together.
