Concept Search - What can I type?
For a concept search, you can enter phrases, sentences, or full paragraphs in English. For example, copy and paste the abstract of a patent application or paragraphs from an article.
Concept search eliminates the need for complex Boolean syntax to inform retrieval. Our Semantic Gist engine uses advanced cognitive semantic analysis to extract the meaning of data. This reduces the chances of missing valuable information, that may result from traditional keyword searching.

A Consistent Method for Creating Files
A method is described which provides the operator of an interactive data
processing system with a single, consistent wa creating any kind of file.
In most interactive data processing systems, the underlying operating system
and application programs have many different ways of creating files. To avoid
confusing the operator, a single CREATE interface is established by the new
method. When the operator selects CREATE on the command bar, a list of the
types of files that can be crated on his system is displayed. After selecting the
desired type of file and specifying the file's name, the system determines what
processing has to be performed to create this particular type of file. In some
cases it is only necessary to construct an entry in the directory that is being
displayed. In other cases, a program will have to be invoked to initialize the file.
These processes are visible to the operator only to the extent that further
descriptive information about the file may be requested by conventional prompts
