A Test Case Executor (TCX) is described which allows designers of hardware to verify their designs and create transportable test cases independent of site main-frame or application programmer support. TCX is a functional design verification system to create test cases for a microprocessor based system with primarily memory-mapped I/O and system control. The purposes of TCX are as follows: 1.
