Concept Search - What can I type?
For a concept search, you can enter phrases, sentences, or full paragraphs in English. For example, copy and paste the abstract of a patent application or paragraphs from an article.
Concept search eliminates the need for complex Boolean syntax to inform retrieval. Our Semantic Gist engine uses advanced cognitive semantic analysis to extract the meaning of data. This reduces the chances of missing valuable information, that may result from traditional keyword searching.

Photoconductor With Improved Cycle Life
In a two layer photoconductor (PC) system using a charge generation layer
(CGL) and a charge transport layer (CTL), an incr in dye concentration in the
CGL will normally lead to an increase in sensitivity.
By using a squarylium dye in the CGL a fourfold improvement in cycle life, as
measured by loss in sensitivity, is attained by optimizing the concentration of the
squarylium dye in the range of 0.02 to 0.08 milligrams/inch. Lower and higher
concentrations of dye do not afford this level of improvement.
The CTL can be a normal layer such as a polymer layer containing
