Abstract

The purpose of the distribution panel is to minimize assembly wiring and allow circuit protectors to be replaced without disturbing phase rotation. The proposed panel is a self-contained enclosure of a number of pre-connected 3-pole circuit protectors which are fed from a common 3-phase bus assembly. The enclosure may be mounted in any available accessible area of the frame close to the intended loads. Fig. 1 is an exploded perspective view of the panel, and Fig. 2 is an orthographic view of the panel. Input - Three wires with ground. Input terminations will be hard wired by the user to the main lugs at the bottom of the bus bars. Wires will be supported by a bulkhead support clamp. Output - Load side of CPs will be terminated on a short copper bus strip.
