Grounding conductors are used to prevent the coupling of signals from one conductor to a nearby conductor in multiple conductor transmission cables. The insulation displacement grounding connector shown in the figures provides an effective means of grounding conductors. The grounding connector 1 (Fig. 1) consists of two cable blocks 2 and 4 and a grounding connector block 3 (Fig. 2). Supported within the grounding connector block 3 is an insulation displacement grounding bar (not shown). The grounding bar has exposed insulation displacement elements 6 (Fig. 3) disposed alternately on either side of the bar to make electrical contact with alternate conductors on each of the flat cables 7 and 8 which pass through the grounding connector 1.
