Currently in the PROFS Program Product, conference rooms are maintained the same as an individual's calendar. This design causes problems because of the nature of conference room scheduling. Installations' conference room scheduling is maintained by one person and accessibility for reserving conference rooms is usually a problem. With the Version 2 enhancements to PROFS, users will have greater access to the conference room schedules and will save time for the individual responsible for the conference rooms. An individual may choose to look at a list of conference rooms before scheduling a meeting in order to find an open room in which to hold the meeting.
