Disclosed is a system that uses internally collected data, system event trace data, the system error log, and the system real time clock to correlate system availability data. For high availability systems or any system where availability data is important to understand, current methods to collect and analyze data are from field reports. This reactionary method of collecting availability data is a valid method, but does not provide internal system data for circumstances that do not involve a reported event.
