Abstract

The ground potential of a first chip bearing a driver is related to the threshold of a receiver on a second chip. By this measure, any noise generated in the information and ground signal is also present in the reference voltage, and thus eliminated. In the figure, driving chip 1 comprises inter alia the driver stage, represented by output transistor T13, and the reference circuit consisting of T11 and T12. Both circuits are connected to the same ground potential. Receiving chip 2 comprises inter alia the receiver consisting of a differential amplifier T21 and T22. Line L1 transmits the actual information signal. Line L2 is provided jointly for both receivers, and transmits the reference voltage from chip 1 to the receiver of chip 2.
