High Performance, Fully Programmable Power Supply System

This article describes a fully programmable power supply system, allowing the user to execute DC variations in an automatic manner, excluding the operator for a constant supervision. It includes a stress possibility, raising the device under test (DUT) to the extreme working limits. Complete checking of data, unauthorized sequence detection, bus failure, DUT failure, operator's warning, current value printing are made to enhance the automatization of this system. The different programmable parameters are the following: - Upper voltage value selection: maximum value not to be overstepped during the process (may be equal to max). - Lower voltage value selection: minimum value not to be understepped during the process (may be equal to zero).
