Abstract

This apparatus covers a workpiece-holding device with tolerance-free pivot bearing and with a radial lever onto which acts, directly or indirectly, the push rod of a precision drive for angle adjustment. A precise adjustment without measurable linear deviations between the adjustment path of the linear precision drive and the angle of adjustment of the workpiece-holding device is normally possible only in the "medium control position" in which the setting drive acts, at 90Πprecisely or approximately, on the leverage surface emanating as a ray from the point of rotation. Outside this "medium control position" there are linear deviations which, with the below-described devices, can be substantially compensated or limited. In the first embodiment in accordance with Fig.
