A technique is described whereby an interface connector is attached to an electronic printed circuit card so that the interface assembly (card, bezel and connector) may be changed without the need of tools, while still providing a secure means of holding interface cables. The interface assembly, as shown in the drawings, utilizes connector 10 mounted on bezel 11. Bezel 11, equipped with stand-off spacers 12, is secured to printed circuit card 13 with screws 14. Bezel 11 is made with projections 15 at each end, which slide into machine housing side guides when card 13 is plugged into its card socket. The guides act as supporting members when a cable is plugged into or pulled out of connector 10. Spring clips 16 are part of the connector used to hold the cable in place.
