Abstract

This is a simple mechanism for the motor-driven opening and closing of doors, slides, flaps, shutters, and the like or for performing other reciprocal motions of elements with a non-linear speed curve, without using a special gear or a motor control. An aperture 1 is assumed to be closed and opened by means of a shutter 2. For that purpose, shutter 2 has a molded tongue 3 which is guided between a motor-driven soft elastic drive roller 4 and a counter roller 5. Tongue 3 has two profile cams 6, 7 which, by interacting with drive roller 4, determine the characteristic of the shutter advance motion. In Fig.
