A technique is described whereby a synergistic forms-feed frame for matrix printers provides acoustical baffling enhancements, as well as integrating functional improvements, to eliminate shadow and ghosting effects from horizontal shifting of paper forms. The forms-feed frame consists of a unique dual durometer plastic profile extrusion 10 which has acoustical foam 11, secured with double- sided tape. A slot 12 is provided for clearance and access to cut sheet edge guides and forms-feed tractors.
