Fastener for Card Cover

Shown above is a fastener for attaching a circuit card cover to a card holder. When the assembly is complete, the circuit card is retained and protected between the card cover and holder. The fastener eliminates the need for fusion or cementing, and the assembly can be disassembled without damage to the parts. In the figure, card cover 1 has, on each of the four corners, "T"-shaped detail 2 which, when assembled to card holder 3, locks into slots 4 of the tabs on the card holder. The tabs on the card holder and the "T"-shaped detail on the card cover are oriented to require a slight deformation during assembly and cause a locking action when an effort is made to separate the two parts.
